I found this spot in the fishing village of Murrells Inlet and was inspired to paint this tranquil marsh scene on my last day in South Carolina. The seafood doesn't get any better or fresher than it does in this part of the world. While I worked the local fishermen were going by and the hum of their boats was so relaxing!

This is so fabulous Sherrie! I love the water and reflections and the values are right on in the foreground and in the distance. That is something I have been working on lately and it isn't as easy as it looks! It looks like you had a wonderful trip!
